FAQ — how the advice wall works 💼

Collecting real pay-it-forward advice for your team, cohort, or conference — minus the discovery call.

Is it free, or is this SaaS with a “book a demo” wall?

Free. Collect advice for your new hire, grad, or founder at $0 — no app, no account, no discovery call. The only paid thing is a $9 keepsake if you want the reel as a download. No seat licenses, we promise.

Do my colleagues need to sign up or install anything?

No. They scan or tap, leave one piece of advice in about 20 seconds, and get back to their inbox. Lower friction than the average “quick sync.”

How do we get the video afterward?

The advice reel plays free on the page — share the link in Slack or hand it to the person it’s for. Want to keep it? Unlock the $9 download for a watermark-free MP4 with voice-over and music. The link lives on the reel page and we email the host, so it doesn’t get buried like every other doc.

What do I actually use this for?

Onboarding a new hire (advice from the whole team beats a swag bag), farewells, promotions, first launches, mentorship circles, cohort programs, and conferences where the hallway wisdom usually evaporates by Monday.

Can people give advice anonymously?

Yes — and the candid stuff usually arrives unsigned. Sometimes the most useful “here’s what I wish I’d known” only comes without a name attached.

Someone posted something off. Can I moderate it?

You can. You get a 4-digit host code by email; use it to remove anything inappropriate or off-topic. Keep the wall generous and useful.

Text only, or can they record something?

Both. Colleagues can type a note, add a photo, or record/upload a video up to 60 seconds. Want a face-to-camera advice wall? Start it in media-only mode.

Where do the voices and music come from?

Each written note is read aloud in a fitting voice over a warm, professional soundtrack — so the reel feels like a genuine send-off, not a group text. Recorded clips keep their own audio.

Is this appropriate for a professional setting?

That’s exactly what it’s built for. It’s pay-it-forward advice, not a roast — the tone stays warm, and you (the host) can moderate anything that misses the mark.
