Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of snark.video. By accessing or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country or state.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher) to use Snark yourself. The Kids experience is intended to be operated by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult on a child's behalf.

2. The service

Snark lets a group add messages, photos, and videos around a shared moment (a roast, celebration, review, and more), which become a live wall and a shareable reel with AI voice-over and music. You are responsible for the content you submit and for having any needed permission from people featured in it.

3. Acceptable use

Keep it fun and consensual. You must not submit or do anything that is illegal, harassing, hateful, defamatory, threatening, sexually explicit, that depicts a minor inappropriately, that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights, or that uploads malware. Hosts can remove entries with their host code, and we may remove content or suspend access that violates these Terms or the law.

4. Your content & license

You keep all rights to what you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, and display that content solely to operate and provide the service (including generating reels, AI voice-overs, and public Gallery display where a host opts in). This license ends when the content is deleted, except for copies in routine backups or where retention is required by law.

5. Payments, refunds & withdrawal

• The $9 keepsake and $299 custom tier are processed by Stripe. Prices may exclude applicable taxes, which are added where required.
• For digital content and services, you agree we may begin performance immediately. EU/UK consumers: where you have a 14-day right of withdrawal, you acknowledge that by starting a digital purchase you may lose that right once delivery/performance has begun with your consent.
• If something goes wrong or wasn't as described, contact hi@snark.video — we handle refunds fairly and in line with applicable consumer law.

6. Intellectual property

The Snark name, logo, and software are ours or our licensors'. These Terms grant you no rights in them except to use the service as intended.

7. Third-party services

The service relies on third parties (Stripe, Resend, ElevenLabs, Cloudflare, and others). Their terms and privacy policies may also apply to your use of those features.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated voices and music are automated and may contain errors; do not rely on them as professional advice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for user-submitted content or for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so these may not fully apply to you.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you submit or your misuse of the service, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. This does not deprive consumers of the mandatory protections of the country or state where they live.

12. Changes & contact
